Dr. Ehsan Bhuiyan

Vice President

Dr. Ehsan Bhuiyan received his PhD in civil and environmental engineering from University of Connecticut. His research focuses on the application of Artificial intelligence ( machine/deep learning tools) in remote sensing, weather forecasting, climate-change prediction, Permafrost, and the modeling of hydro-meteorological processes. Moreover, a major part of his research work consists of the integration of satellite and reanalysis of precipitation datasets with machine learning tool for investigating the main error sources and assessing the error propagation into Multi-Hydrologic Model Simulations which has direct applications in water resources management, weather and climate prediction. His current research demonstrates AI based algorithm in diverse tundra landscapes and lay a firm foundation for its operational-level application in mapping ice-rich permafrost and repeated documentation of permafrost disturbances at the sub-meter scale across the pan-Arctic.

Tarik Binoy, P.E.
